Trey Moody is the author of Thought That Nature (Sarabande Books, 2014), selected for the 2012 Kathryn A. Morton Prize in Poetry. He has also written several chapbooks, most recently the co-authored How We Remake the World (Slope Editions, 2012). His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Best New Poets 2009, Boston Review, Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Indiana Review, Pleiades, Washington Square, and West Branch. Born and raised in San Antonio, he received an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University and currently is a PhD Candidate in English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He lives with his wife and daughter in San Marcos, Texas.
